Left to right, the brothers are: Andy, Raymond, Clarence and Odis. Employees of Adams-Millis plants and offices again answered the call of the American Red Cross for blood donors at the Red Cross Bloodmobile on February 16 and 17. Plant-wide solicitations made by the Gray Ladies and our own volunteers accounted for 143 cards signed by employees volun teering to give blood. Many of those signing cards went in answer to a direct appeal from President J. H. Millis for support of this life-giving program. The knitting departments of Plants #1 and #7 gave their usual ex cellent response; Plant #1 knitting supplied 36 volunteers while 8 knitters from Plant #7 signed up this visit. The finishing departments also responded (Cont'd, on page 8) Five pairers of Plant #7 are pictured on their way to the Blood mobile. They are: Virginia Wood, Marjorie Chilton, Zulene Luck, Daisy McAlpin and Willa Mae Osborne.
